A two hour exhibition of buckeye might, led by  Heisman hopeful Braxton Miller. “This was a great day for Ohio State football,” said Coach Meyer. To come back to Cincinnati, I consider this partly my hometown and we have a lot of guys on this staff who do as well”.

A fashionable warm, sunny, and somewhat windy day greeted buckeye nation as the color of Paul Brown on this day was scarlet and grey. What we all saw was a buckeye team that can be real good. There are some gaps that need to be filled, but all in all, it was a good show. This team is big, and fast, in key positions, but the defense will be tested next season. Offensive line blocking could also be a concern, as the defense got to the quarterbacks much too often.

All three buckeye quarterbacks looked good and Miller looked crisp. The big question for the buckeyes will be how will they fill the gaps. Can this team repeat the undefeated effort from last year. Given the schedule, it’s possible. The only real test on the schedule will be the trip to Ann Arbor. Michigan looks to be good again this year. The anticipation is building

Final score Scarlet 31 – Gray 14
