Decrease Font Size Increase Font Size Text Size Print This Page

Onika Tanya Maraj, is the hottest rapper from Trinadad. In the United States, we know her as Nicki Minaj, and she is on everyone’s hot list these days. This without ever dropping an album of her own until recently. Nicki has been the by product of Mix Tapes, word of mouth, and some good press. She has made the most of it and finally dropped her first album this month. The biggest single from the compilation hist the airwaves back in April and the album is just playing catchup to the rappers stardom.

The rapper sat down with Rolling Stone magazine recently and talked about her early life, her future goals, child abuse and the question surrounding her sexuality. Miss Minaj points out that her father was a drug addict. Minaj’s parents still live together, so the story is something she talks about with a bit of pain.

Minaj talks about her early sexual tendencies and now says that her bisexual comments were publicity stunts and that she is not bisexual. The rapper does however think girls are sexy. Minaj has mapped out a five-year plan for success which includes film, cosmetics and clothing. Pretty ambitious for the rapper from Queens New York. The Rolling Stone Magazine Interview is on shelves now.
